Chelsea has provided counseling services to individuals, couples and families for 17 years. She has worked in several outpatient clinics and in private practice. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which incorporates mindfulness and self awareness in self directed healing, Brainspotting and other modalities. Chelsea was an adjunct faculty member in the Couples & Family Therapy program at the University of Oregon where she taught academic classes and provided supervision for student clinical work. She currently supervises pre-licensed counselors as an Approved Supervisor for the Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists and in Washington State.

Chelsea served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand for over two years where she worked in education and community development and studied eastern philosophies. She has also spent time in Europe working as a Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) at a NATO Army base. Chelsea continues to broaden her understanding of relationships, culture and spirituality through continued education and her blog, The Spirit of Therapy.
